Meanwhile,

I will hold your hope

you can too.

I have completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology and have over 14 years counselling experience . I welcome clients 18 years and older. I also facilitate grief groups online and in person.

During the final weeks in palliative care with my husband, I knew that when I returned to counselling , I would focus my practice around grief and loss. I am familiar with such issues as bereaved caregivers, death, divorce, addictions in family relationships, pet loss. I know it takes time to calm, recover, and rebuild a life that has been shattered by loss. With my training and lived experience we will make a plan to move into your life of peace.

We will collaborate in designing strategies that fit your style and personality. There really is no one size fits all in navigating through grief. I am a person centred counsellor with additional training in risk assessment (suicide), addictions, and now grief. I qualified as an EMDR Basic counsellor and completed my Professional Grief Informed Certificate.

I respectfully acknowledge that the land on which I live, work, and play is Treaty 6 Territory. All people are beneficiaries of this peace and friendship treaty.

Treaty 6 includes the traditional territories of many First Nations: Cree, Dene, Nakota, Salteaux, and Ojibwe along with being the homeland of the Metis nation.

We are dedicated to ensuring that the spirit of Reconciliation and Treat 6 is honoured and respected in this practice.

This also reaffirms our relationship with one another.
